Frequently Asked Questions

Everything B2B buyers, distributors, and integrators need to know about ordering, OEM/ODM, certifications, and technical support.

Ordering & MOQ
MOQ varies by product line. Standard wholesale starts from 10 units for most AI camera models. For OEM with custom packaging or logo, MOQ is typically 50–100 units. ODM projects have project-specific MOQs negotiated based on development scope. Contact our sales team with your requirements for an accurate MOQ and pricing.
Submit a sample request via our Contact Sales form, including your company name, intended application, and target quantity. Standard sample lead time is 3–5 business days. Sample costs are typically borne by the buyer but can be credited toward the first bulk order for qualified B2B clients.
We accept T/T (bank transfer), L/C (letter of credit) for orders above a certain value, and Western Union for small sample orders. Payment terms are 30–50% deposit before production with the balance before shipment for most standard orders. Flexible terms may be available for authorised distribution partners.
Yes, we have an evaluation programme for qualified system integrators. You receive 1–2 units for 30-day technical evaluation at a reduced cost, which is then credited toward your first commercial order. Please contact us with your company profile and project pipeline to apply.
OEM & ODM
Yes. OEM branding includes LOGO printing or engraving on the camera housing, branded retail/shipping packaging, custom boot screen and UI language, and branded documentation. You retain full ownership of your brand. Minimum OEM order is typically 50–100 units depending on the customisation scope.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer): You use our existing hardware and add your brand identity. Fastest path to market, lowest investment. ODM (Original Design Manufacturer): We develop a fully custom product based on your specifications — custom hardware design, AI algorithm training, firmware, and API integration. Higher investment and longer timeline but fully unique product.
ODM project timelines depend on complexity. A firmware-level customisation (software only) can take 4–8 weeks. Full hardware ODM with new casing and PCB design typically takes 60–120 days from confirmed specifications to first batch production, including prototype approval, AI training, and certification. We provide a detailed timeline in the project proposal.
Software-only ODM customisations on existing hardware platforms generally retain existing certifications with a supplementary declaration. Hardware changes (new PCB, casing, antennas) require new certification testing. We provide full certification support and can manage the process with approved third-party labs. Certification costs are project-specific.
Technical Questions
Yes. All AiViewLink IP cameras support ONVIF Profile S, and selected models also support Profile G (recording) and Profile T (advanced streaming). This ensures compatibility with major VMS platforms including Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hikvision iVMS, and Dahua DSS. We also provide SDK/API for deep integration in ODM and project contexts.
Our cameras use edge AI processing with dedicated NPU chips. All AI inference runs on-device — no cloud dependency for real-time detection. This provides sub-200ms response latency, dramatically reduced bandwidth requirements, and local data processing for privacy compliance (relevant for GDPR and Singapore PDPA environments). Optional cloud connectivity is available for remote management and analytics aggregation.
Our cameras support H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, and MJPEG. H.265+ smart encoding reduces bandwidth and storage by up to 50% compared to standard H.264, making it ideal for large-scale deployments. RTSP streaming and ONVIF media profiles are supported for VMS integration.
Yes. Face recognition cameras support Wiegand (26-bit and 34-bit), RS-485, and TCP/IP interfaces for integration with standard access control panels. SDK is available for custom integrations with third-party access control platforms. For ODM projects, we can develop proprietary integration protocols to match your existing infrastructure.
Certifications & Compliance
Standard product lines carry CE (EU), FCC (US), RoHS (hazardous substances), and ISO quality certifications. Physical protection ratings include IP66/IP67 (dust/water) and IK10 (impact) on outdoor models. For ODM clients, we can assist with UL (North America), PSE (Japan), BSMI (Taiwan), SASO (Saudi Arabia), and other market-specific certifications. See the full Certifications page.
Yes. CE Declaration of Conformity, FCC ID certificates, RoHS compliance declarations, ISO certificates, and IP/IK test reports are all available as PDF for qualified B2B buyers. Please submit a request via our certificate request form with your company name and product requirements. Documents are typically dispatched within 1 business day.
Shipping & Delivery
In-stock standard products: 3–7 business days after payment confirmation. OEM (label/packaging only): 15–25 business days. ODM (hardware customisation): 60–120 days. We use DHL, FedEx, and UPS for express delivery, plus freight forwarding for bulk shipments. EXW, FOB, and CIF incoterms available.
Yes. We ship regularly to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and other Southeast Asian markets. Air express (DHL/FedEx) to Singapore typically takes 3–5 business days from Shenzhen. For large-volume orders, sea freight to Singapore Port is available with approximately 7–10 business day transit.
Under EXW and FOB terms, customs clearance at the destination port is the buyer's responsibility. Under CIF/DDP terms, we can arrange shipping and provide complete documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, CE/FCC certificates) to support customs clearance. We have experience preparing documentation for Singapore customs requirements.
Warranty & After-Sales Support
Standard products carry a 12-month warranty from the delivery date. Extended 24-month warranty is available for qualified OEM/ODM distribution partners. Warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware failures under normal operating conditions. Physical damage, misuse, and water ingress beyond rated IP class are excluded.
After-sales support includes: remote technical diagnosis via email/WhatsApp, firmware update files, replacement parts supply, and dedicated support engineer assignment for OEM/ODM and enterprise project clients. Response time target is 4 business hours for technical support requests. For project clients, on-site support visits can be arranged.
Email support@aiviewlink.com with your order number, product model, description of the issue, and photos/video of the fault. Our team will diagnose remotely first. If hardware replacement is required under warranty, we cover the cost of the replacement unit and return shipping for qualified warranty claims.
